Bluefield promotes Alberto Paturzo to Partner

‘Promotion demonstrates Bluefield’s commitment to Europe’

Bluefield Italia Srl, part of the wider Bluefield group of companies (“Bluefield”), is pleased to announce the promotion of Alberto Paturzo as a Partner at Bluefield.

Before joining the Bluefield group, in his previous experiences within Martifer Solar, BNP Paribas and MedEnergy, Alberto took leading roles in project development, financing and investment activities in Italy and Southern Europe. As an active member of the main renewable energy associations and representative of both Bluefield and Martifer in different industry conferences across Europe, Alberto has built and maintained strong relationships in Italy, Spain, Greece, Portugal, France, Netherland and in the UK.  Alberto has served as sole administrator or director of several energy asset companies and holds an MBA from IESE Business School, Barcelona and an MSc in Economics from LUISS University, Rome.

This latest appointment demonstrates and reaffirms Bluefield’s commitment to the European market. Paturzo brings with him a wealth of experience both within Bluefield and the wider energy and renewables investment industry. This new appointment marks a significant milestone in the continual development of Bluefield’s European activities, following on from the successful close of the of Bluefield Revive Italia I (“Revive I”) strategy, in partnership with Arcano Capital, SGIIC, S.A.U in which Alberto played a leading role. The success of this strategy was recently recognised at the IJGlobal Investor Awards 2023, with Revive I winning the award for ‘Impact Investor’ of the Year.

Giovanni Terranova, Founder and Managing Partner of Bluefield, said: “I am delighted to welcome Alberto as our new Bluefield Partner. His unrivalled industry expertise and network combined with an unwavering commitment to Bluefield have brought enormous value to the partnership. We look forward to growing our European platform together.”

Commenting on his promotion to Partner at Bluefield, Alberto Paturzo, said: “It is a real honour and a privilege to have been promoted to Partner. The entrepreneurial focus of Bluefield combined with its ethical values is what attracted me to join the business back in 2015 as a director. It has taken a significant amount of hard work and dedication to achieve this important “milestone” and I could not have done it without the trust and the support of such an incredible team. For this reason, I would like to express my deep gratitude and appreciation to my fellow partners, colleagues and, of course, every single member of my team for continuously inspiring me and for their constant support. I am extremely proud of everything that we have collectively achieved to date but I do believe the ‘the best is yet to come’, and as such, I am really excited about the future and look forward to continuing to develop and grow this excellent team over the next few years.”
